RESUMO:

The rural territories of Brazil have undergone profound changes in the last decades. The changes are complex and gave rise to a multiplicity of views and approaches on the new reality in the rural territories. The territorial policies whose target population is family farmer, though not exclusively, have played an important role in the induction of depressed territories as a way of combating the concentration of poverty and poverty caused by the low economic dynamism. In the constitution of the paradigm of "Rural Territorial Development" (DTR) and the social subject called "Family Farmer" (FF) as they become discursive instruments and intervention through public policies are the universe of issues that i want to thematic areas for my research. Understanding them as processes linked in different ways. However, recognizing that it is in the political field that they are and are (re) configured in public policies. The following research questions are formulated: how are DTR and FF issues interrelated? How do they intervene in the (re) configuration of the public policy Territory of Identity (TI) of the state of Bahia? How do social capital in Vale Verde operate in its participation in public TI policy? The general objective is to verify the scope of the interfaces between the DTR strategies and the FF actors vis-à-vis the implementation of the public policy of Identity Territories promoted by the state of Bahia, according to a study by CODETER of TI Costa do Descobrimento and noting the endowment of the social capital of the rural district of Vale Verde. The research will apply as method an empirical-inductive and qualitative nature from the perspective of the actor and from the understanding paradigm, concentrating on field work with a strategy of triangulation of techniques and the development of case study on politics public TI. It also follows, in general lines, the protocol of structuralist research indicated by Bourdieu and the CEPAL view of social capital.
