SUMMARY:

Comprehensive health care during prenatal is extremely important to ensure a healthy and safe pregnancy. In this period, different health professionals must be involved in monitoring the pregnant woman, also considering the oral health of pregnant women during this period. The oral health care line for pregnant women in the Family Health Strategy, is necessary to guarantee adequate access to dental services during pregnancy, with monitoring of oral health, prevention and treatment of problems and risks in oral and comprehensive health, which, when developed interprofessionally, contribute to improving women's quality of life and prevent unfavorable outcomes during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, for both mother and child. The objective of the research is to analyze the line of dental prenatal care developed 3/3 during the year 2022 in the Family Health Strategy of a municipality in Pernambuco and the outcomes that occurred during childbirth during this period. This is a descriptive, retrospective and mixed study with the use of thematic oral history method and document analysis technique of the medical records of women who gave birth in the city in the last year, and semi-structured interviews with women about the experience of oral health care in the Health Units belonging to Health Regional 5 of the municipality. The results will be subjected to Bardin content analysis to identify analytical categories. It is expected to know how the oral health care line occurred during prenatal care in the last year, and what the outcomes were for the mother and child during birth, as well as contributing with a technical/technological product, the development of a protocol for the flow of comprehensive dental prenatal care in the municipality
