RESUMO:

As land use activities, the same small proportions can interfere with the hydrological behavior of river basins. Due to the processes of substitution of native vegetation for human activities, there is an increasing increase, it becomes necessary to analyze and understand its effects and consequences on the water availability of the basins. Therefore, this work sought to analyze the influence of changes in land use and occupation, on the hydrological behavior of the hydrographic basins of the Peruípe, Itanhém and Jucuruçu rivers, located in the territory of the extreme south of Bahia. To do so, use the data from the historical series of the fluviometric stations belonging to the drainage areas of the studied hydrographic basins, imported from the HidroWeb portal of the National Water Agency. From these options, select the following hydrological variations: maximum leak, medium and minimum flow. The data related to the size of the area, extension and class delimitation were provided by the Forestry Forum of the Extreme South of Bahia. An analysis of the data was carried out by comparing the maps of land use and occupation and the areas occupied by the 18 classes analyzed, thus verifying them, as changes occurred in each period. Later, he made an association of the data through the quantitative analysis performed in the software SAS University Edition, where they were used as simple correlations between the variables. As fluviometric stations belonging to the studied hydrographic basins, they tend to decrease their flow rates over time, mainly as minimum flows. The fact that bacteria are predominantly occupied by anthropic crops, especially eucalyptus and livestock, is directly contributing to these empty consequences, compromising the quality and quantity of water available for use. Therefore, it becomes necessary to balance the economic objectives with environmental damage that such crops cause, in order to guarantee security in the water availability of these basins.
