RESUMO:

The school composes a diversity of peoples and their respective cultures, so there are cultural and social particularities that must be considered in every educational process contributing to the construction of a society that is committed to democratic participation, equity and recognition of the different socio-cultural groups that integrate it. Education is a possible way to break down social differences. For that, it is necessary to deconstruct rigid political-pedagogical praxis to build curricula interconnected with the socio-historical reality of the students. In view of these assertions, we intend to understand the interfaces of the socio-educational process for the reception of students from the MST field schools, in the socio-educational context of the Luís Eduardo Magalhães Model College, located in Itamaraju-BA. This work refers to the research project of the Professional Master's Program Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations, Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB). With the discursive-methodological process, we wish to investigate how these MST students from the MST settlements schools feel in a school within the city, and in what way it is contemplated in political-pedagogical activities. Nonetheless, from the analysis of the life trajectories they understand the meanings and meanings attributed by these subjects to the achievement of formal education. The recognition that people living in the countryside are entitled to an education different from that offered to those living in cities is recent and innovative, and has gained strength from the Operational Guidelines for Basic Education in the Country Schools by the National Education Council . This recognition goes beyond the notion of geographic space and comprehends cultural needs, social rights and the integral formation of these individuals (BRASIL 2007). Therefore, the research is based on the assumption that the pedagogical political processes do not consider in practice the realities of these subjects even when dealing with a population that contributed to and contributes to the construction of the history of the municipality, both economic and social. According to Bardin (1977), the research is characterized by a qualitative approach based on the technique of content analysis, in order to categorize the data found, and is presented in the ethnographic case study in education (ANDRÉ, 2005). ANDRÉ, 2005). It is important to use participant observation, analysis of documents and interviews, keeping in touch with the situation studied using descriptive data: people, situations, environments, dialogues, testimonies, which will be reconstructed in the form of literal words or transcriptions. Finally, the research results will contribute to the construction of an e-book titled: BETWEEN THE FIELD AND THE CITY: Narratives of students graduating from MST settlement schools, which aims to add to the political-pedagogical materials for inclusion in the curriculum of the school, themes that involve the social movements present in Itamaraju.
