RESUMO:

The application of the “Axé Odara Pedagogical Project” develops in a process similar to “picking leaves” which, in candomblé means that one does not learn anything at once, on the contrary, learning takes place over a period of time. initiatory, which begins but does not have an end (in itself). Sheets / knowledge are being “picked” here and there, added to the subjects' body symbiotically; are not separated body and mind or rationality, feelings and affections. Idealized throughout my professional / academic life - courses; teaching activities; political options that have been going through me - the “Axé Odara Project” has been elaborated / implemented over hours of reading, writing, conversations and actions with students and partner teachers, and has recently gained greater volume. theoretician through studies developed in the Master in “Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations” of the Federal University of Southern Bahia - PPGER / UFSB. It is a living project, patiently articulated, whose details - like leaves - were collected with the intention that at some point the pedagogical activity of the school in which I work turns to an Education for the Practice of Freedom, namely , based on engaged pedagogy, critical-reflexive teaching, promotion of pedagogical communities, strengthening of aquilombamentos at school. The development of the “Axé Odara Project” has led me to develop a black, critical and empowered theory, which I am calling “Odaraperspectivismo”. This other view relates to an ethical-critical-reflexive-black movement; seeks to promote through black referenced education, spaces of resistance and awareness, a black education whose pedagogy is engaged; straight talk: puts the quilombo inside the school. Studies such as bell hooks, Stuart Hall, Homi K. Bhabha, Lélia Gonzales, Sueli Carneiro, Petronilha Silva, Eliane Cavalleiro, Muniz Sodré, Achille Mbembe, Renato Nogueira and Emanoel Soares, contribute to the formation of a liberating and anti-racist education.
