RESUMO:

The material presented is part of the master's research project “Pedagogical Crossroads in Early Childhood Education in Teixeira de Freitas - BA: an intersectional self-ethnography between children, childhoods and teacher education”, submitted to the Graduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations - PPGER, IHAC - UFSB, Campus Paulo Freire. The objectives of the research are directed with the general objective: To understand the impacts caused in the subjectivation processes of children based on ethnic-racial relations and their intersectionality with issues of gender and sexuality in the institutions of Early Childhood education in the municipal network of Teixeira de Freitas; and the specific objectives: a) To identify what are the obstacles to the effectiveness of the educational practices proposed by the intervention projects (PI's) elaborated in the context of the continuing education “Practices that promote racial equality”; b) To raise information about the limits and possibilities of the Institutions and their / their teachers / teachers in dealing with issues of race, gender and sexuality in Early Childhood Education; c) To systematize studies in the format of training meetings, which allow re-elaboration of exclusionary beliefs aiming at promoting education for ethnic-racial and anti-sexist relations; d) To evaluate  the contributions made possible by said training to the pedagogical practice of participating teachers. The methodological proposal is aimed at a self-ethnographic and ethnographic dialogue in approaching children, also using semi-structured interviews. The research is justified in the absences and silences about the issues of genders, sexualities and ethnic-racial relations, which makes it necessary an intersectional work in Early Childhood Education, where the anti-racist struggle goes hand in hand in confronting machismo, sexism and misogyny.
