RESUMO:

The research aims to build an intercultural learning model based on social networks, aiming at collaborative learning, and starting from a dialogical experience between brazilian and angolan youth: students from a public school in Teixeira de Freitas-BA and a group of scouts angolans based in Luanda, Angola. At first, the deep cultural ties existing between Brazil and Angola are revisited historically in their links with the Portuguese Colonial Empire. Such an analysis will make it possible to evaluate the reminiscences of this colonialism on the two shores of the Atlantic, especially with regard to its identity constructions, official and unofficial. In a second step, there is a brief study of how mobile technologies, especially cell phones, can assist in the construction of teaching-learning processes, pointing out their contributions to mobile, collaborative and intercultural learning, meeting the demands of contemporary educational paradigms . It started from the concept of digital culture, and WhatsApp was used as a communicational tool, with the purpose of (re)building relations of respect for the (re)existing ethnic-cultural similarities between Brazil and Angola. Finally, the process of creating, organizing and using the WhatsApp group will be described as an alternative strategy that fosters interaction, autonomy and co-authorship of learning, making subjects active agents in the process of building knowledge. This experience was recorded in a short video that contains the testimonies and impressions of the participants. The presented product intends to contribute so that other professionals can use this methodology for the strengthening of alternative pedagogical practices based on interculturality and digital technologies, because, when thinking about Basic Education, one must take into consideration that it constitutes a space significant for the identity consolidation of young people and adolescents, and the school, whether formal or non-formal, must provide different paths for teaching-learning.
