RESUMO:

The material presented is part of the master's research project "When do children say these things and we don't see them?" an intersectional ethnography with / among children of Early Childhood Education in Teixeira de Freitas - BA, submitted to the Postgraduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations - PPGER, IHAC - UFSB, Campus Paulo Freire. The objectives of the research are directed with the general objective: To understand the impacts caused in the subjectivation processes of children based on ethnic-racial relations and their intersectionality with issues of gender and sexuality in the institutions of Early Childhood education in the municipal network of Teixeira de Freitas; and the specific objectives: a) Reflect on curricular policies for Early Childhood Education in Brazil and in Teixeira de Freitas and their absence with regard to issues of race, ethnicity and their intersections with genders and sexualities; b) To raise information about the limits and possibilities of the Institutions and their teachers in dealing with issues of race, gender and sexuality in early childhood education; c) Identify the movement made by children to resist the pre-established norms addressed to race, gender and sexualities in society and which are reproduced in early childhood education institutions. The methodological proposal is aimed at an ethnographic dialogue in approaching children, making use of ethno-printing and documentary analysis of reports. The research is justified in the absences and silences about the issues of genders, sexualities and ethnic-racial relations, which makes it necessary an intersectional work in Early Childhood Education, where the anti-racist struggle goes hand in hand in confronting machismo, sexism and misogyny.
