RESUMO:
This research will have as participants black gay/lesbian teachers, who are teaching basic education. The personal and professional experiences of these subjects will be analyzed, that is, how non-heteronormative dissident sexuality education professionals deal with homophobia and racism inside and outside the classroom. How is the involvement of these subjects with the school community? How is work carried out in environments that reproduce heteronormativity? Is there homophobia/racism veiled or not among white and straight teachers themselves? The project entitled “Narratives and memories of black lesbian and gay teachers in the municipality of Itamaraju/BA” was designed based on the existing silences in the educational spaces of gay and lesbian professionals blacks and non-blacks. The work presented was prepared considering the first presentation at the Qualification Board - Procedural Seminars I, of the Postgraduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations – PPGER at the Federal University of Sul da Bahia – UFSB. In this regard, this research will propose, as a final product, an e-book for basic education teachers in order to discuss race, gender and sexuality.
