An intersectional research about ethnical relations and gender minorities. This project started in Minas Gerais, then move over to São Paulo and finally to the South of Bahia in search of the foundations of black ancestry, and the evidence which connects those geographies. While I ́ve been studying the narratives engendered by the artwork of black transgender people int contemporary art scenario, overall, about my own production as a visual artist.
The research also has a practical application in no scholar education throughout my acting in the AfroBraziliian Museum and a bilingual educator, a place where I have been developing methodologies of discussing art pieces, objects, and artifacts that are part of the long-term duration collection, applying directly the Law 10.639/2003 as a tool of racial and gender awareness throughout the art-education and travesti education.
