SUMMARY:
The present qualification material is part of the master's research project "Gypsies, curriculum and ethnic-racial relations: a case study at the Novo Prado Municipal School, Itamaraju-Ba", guided by Professor Dr. Paulo de Tássio Borges da Silva, in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations – PPGER, IHAC – UFSB, Paulo Freire Campus. The text is organized to follow the writing path: first I present the memorial entitled “Reading and narratives of the self: Voids of saying”, where I recall childhood events, family and religious experiences, in addition to my walk through stages of the school trajectory and professional until entry into the master's course; In the second part, I present the project “Gypsies, Curriculum and Ethnic-Racial Relations: a case study at the Novo Prado Municipal School, Itamaraju-BA”, the result of reflections that I made during the first years that I worked as a teacher of Early Childhood Education, Elementary School II and during my work with High School. The texts are intended to register the research in the first qualification exam in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations – PPGER.
