SUMMARY:

The present proposal is part of the master's research project "Women of Axé in Teixeira de Freitas - BA: autonomy, education and femininities", guided by Professor Dr. Paulo de Tássio Borges da Silva at the Graduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations – PPGER, IHAC – UFSB, Paulo Freire Campus. The text is organized for this first qualification, following the writing path: first I present the memorial, where I recall childhood events, religious experiences, migrations, in addition to my walk through stages of the school and professional trajectory, from motherhood to entry into the course master's degree; In the second part, I present the project “AS WOMEN OF AXÉ IN TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS – BA: AUTONOMIA, EDUCAÇÃO E FEMINILIDADES”, which was born from my experiences in childhood and adolescence, when I had the first contacts with the rituals of Candomblé and Umbanda. In this sense, the set of texts presented in this material aims to submit the research in the first qualification in the Graduate Program in Education and Ethnic-Racial Relations - PPGER.
