CURRICULUM AND GIGANITY: THE CALON AT ESCOLA MUNICIPAL

The purpose of this text is to present the first reflections on the results of the research Curriculum and Gypsy: the Calón at Escola Municipal Novo Prado, Itamaraju-BA, carried out in a significant Calon community with fixed housing in the vicinity of the aforementioned school. This research was justified by the fact that, although there are studies about gypsies in Bahia, there are still no records of research carried out in Itamaraju-BA related to the Calón ethnic group. Invisibility affects gypsies in various social strata and at school it is no different, therefore, this research aims to value gypsy culture within schools and the curriculum. The texts are intended to enroll the research in the second qualification exam in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching and Ethnic-Racial Relations – PPGER. In this second qualification, I present 3 chapters for the panel's appreciation and contribution, followed by a sketch of the educational artifact, a pedagogical notebook.
