SUMMARY:

The present work will deal with the deposition and decomposition and carbon stock in the litter natural and restored forests in the South of Bahia, being the same composed of two chapters. The first chapter is a cenciometric review of the works published in the period from 2007 to 2022., and the second chapter the monitoring of the dynamics of production, accumulation and decomposition of litter in areas of native and restored forests in the south of Bahia.
