Innovative technologies for the sustainable management of solid waste: a propositional analysis for the city of Teixeira de Freitas

This work addresses the topic of solid waste management, focusing on the presentation and analysis of innovative technologies that offer effective solutions for the sustainable management of these materials. Initially, the work contextualizes the growing problem of solid waste in the city of Teixeira de Freitas – Bahia and highlights the importance of technological approaches to face this challenge. Throughout the dissertation, technologies are discussed, including smart collection systems, remote sensing monitoring, advanced recycling processes, and the application of artificial intelligence in planning and optimizing collection routes. Critical analysis of the advantages and challenges associated with each technology aims to provide a comprehensive view of the current state of solid waste management. As results, it is expected to highlight the importance of adopting these technologies to promote environmental sustainability and the continuous need for innovation in this constantly evolving field.
