Reflections on education, transformacion and social movements.
contextualized education; collective experiences; Teia dos Povos da Bahia.
The main motivation of this work is to reflect on the construction proposal of the Teia dos Povos, a space for joining different social movements and collective experiences in southern Bahia. The starting point is to make an agricultural calendar, which lays the groundwork for the participatory research that guides this study. The calendar seeks to collect, systemize and materialize the traditional knowledge of planting and agricultural management, and it is expected to be used in one of the schools of a Teia dos Povos community. I seek to understand how the construction of the calendar reflects the hope for a contextualized education, which values ancestral and traditional knowledge, linked to the general principles of the Teia dos Povos, expressed in the nexus of the earth, territory and agroecology. I also seek to establish a dialogue with the theoretical framework on education and collective experiences in Latin America, highlighting elements that allow us to analyze the Teia dos Povos general principles and themes and its relation with education.
