The present study aims to answer the following question: What elements mark the trajectory of Tupinambá indigenous women from Olivença-Ba and support their active participation in the spaces of power and decision? Has objective is to analyze the role of indigenous women in these spaces, evidencing the role of education in the formation of autonomous, critical and conscious subjects of their identity. It is ethnographic research, that it plans to use as interlocutors women who stand out in the communities for playing a crucial role in their confrontations, such as: chiefs, leaders, teachers, activists, health professionals, etc. focusing mainly on collecting life stories as a better way to understand their trajectories.
