The Training of History Teachers in the Costa do Descobrimento Identity Territory: Institutions and Academic-Professional Training (2000-2020)

In this work, is sought to understand the process of training history teachers and map the training Institutions of History teachers in the Costa do Descobrimento Identity Territory, so that we can understand how the teachers` qualification in the mentioned territory has been configured: the institutions; courses; epistemological training bases; the curriculum; the number of students entering and leaving the courses, among others aspects. It is a qualitative research, divided in two parts, in the first, of bibliographical and documentary, which was made a literature review about the theme. In the second stage, we'll do an advanced research in the e-MEC register, seeking qualification institutions data, and in the INEP Educational indicators locating indicators of Higher Education Trajectory worksheets, where we'll analyze data from the History undergraduate course starting in 2010 until the year of 2016. The research results will provide an overview of the History teachers training in the Costa do Descobrimento Territory, checking if the courses offer the student the minimum conditions required for your qualification.
